A man who had gone missing two years ago was reunited with his family thanks to a viral TikTok video.
R Venkateshwarlu, 60, who is hearing and speech impaired, went missing from Telangana in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district in April 2018.
He was spotted taking food in a TikTok video by his daughter and son, who saw the video.
Police were able to use the video to trace his location and found him in Ludhiana. Police arranged for a video call for the missing man and his family. His son, Peddiraju, identified him in the video call.
Peddiraju then set out to Ludhiana to bring his dad back home.
The family was very happy and thanked TikTok for helping them find their missing member.
